We offer top quality English language training to adults, younger learners and professionals in the school, in companies and public authorities, teach extracurricular classes in junior and secondary schools, and organise language courses abroad .
ADULT ENGLISH COURSES
Our main aim is that our students can really communicate in English with fluency, accuracy and good pronunciation. All aspects of the language are worthy of attention but we place special emphasis on the natural use of English and on encouraging our students to communicate with confidence and independence. All of our teachers are native and highly qualified. We form homogenous groups of students according to our level system. Further details of courses in the Spanish version.
TERMLY COURSES
We offer courses of 3 and 6 hours per week between 10am and 9.30pm and 3 hour courses on Friday evenings or on Saturday mornings. All groups have a maximum of 10 students.
FIRST CERTIFICATE, CAE Y PROFICIENCY
Our popular and successful Cambridge exam preparation courses for First Certificate, CAE and Proficiency have a pass rate of over 90%.
CONVERSATION COURSES
Our 3 hours a week conversation courses have a maximum of eight students per group. The teachers prepare a series of activities according to the needs, level and interests of each group with the aim of encouraging the active participation of all the students.

INTENSIVE COURSES
Intensive courses are ideal for those students who need to make rapid progress in their language learning. They are organised on a monthly basis and each class is 2½ or 3 hours long

During the summer months of July, August and September we offer Intensive and Immersion Courses, Fluency, Cambridge FCE Immersion and English for Work classes
PROFESSIONAL ENGLISH COURSES
Designed for working adults who need to improve their professional language and communication skills, these 2 hours a week courses are organised on a termly basis.
YOUNG LEARNERS ENGLISH COURSES
Taught by native, qualified and experienced teachers, these are extremely active courses where children and adolescents learn to speak English and use their knowledge through games, activities and theatre. We form homogenous groups according to age and our young learners level system.
IN-SCHOOL CURRICULAR AND EXTRACURRICULAR COURSES
Hyland Language Centre has 18 years experience teaching extra-curricular English classes in some of the most prestigious primary and secondary schools in Madrid. The courses take place on the schools' premises, either outside normal school hours (at mid-day or in the afternoon) or during normal class time. The classes are complementary to the classes already being taught by the schools themselves and place great emphasis on oral communication and pronunciation. TERMLY ON-SITE COURSES
Two hours a week on Mondays and Wednesdays or 2 hours on Fridays. Further details of courses in the Spanish version.
SUMMER COURSES
Courses of 2½ hours a day for 8 to 15 year olds enabling young learners to improve their English in the summer without having to travel abroad.
COMPANY ENGLISH COURSES
The teaching of English to management and employees of companies and public authorities is a key activity of Hyland Language Centre, and is one of our most active and successful departments. Our clients clients range from multinationals and government bodies to small and medium sized firms. Further details in the Spanish version.
CLOSED COURSES
Either in one-to-one classes or groups made up of personnel from the same company, these courses can be made-to-measure to the specific needs of the client, taking into account the recommendations of Hyland Language Centre.
These courses are adjusted to the client's requirements of length, frequency, timetable and location of the classes.
"OPEN" COURSES
The personnel of the company join existing groups in our centre. We offer general, conversation and specific needs courses all year round.
The teaching practice and feedback I received during the past month was valuable - now that I feel prepared I'm even more excited to teach in the 'real world'.
