OUR TEACHERS
All of our English teachers are university graduates, specialize in the teaching of English and are experienced in the teaching of English as a foreign language. They also hold the following qualification or its equivalent:
- RSA CELTA - Royal Society of Arts / University of Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults, or
- Trinity TESOL - Trinity College London Certificate of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages .
Additional qualification:
- RSA DELTA - Royal Society of Arts / University de Cambridge Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults. Continuation of the RSA CELTA, considered to be the highest qualification in the teaching of English as a foreign language.
Our French teachers are university graduates experienced in the teaching of French to adults and either have a degree in French as a foreign language or have the qualification of Maîtrise de Français Langue Etrangère.
All of our teachers attend weekly seminars as a part of our in service teacher training programme. Teaching methodology is continually evolving and as teachers we never stop learning!
Our team of Directors of Studies and Assistant Directors of Studies supervise this programme and give constant educational support. In addition they organise observations of classes with the aim of helping teachers perfect their classroom skills and techniques.
Additional support is provided in everything from exam preparation to back-up on off-site classes, and teachers wishing to further their educational training, transfer to other schools in other countries, or simply need advice on a particular class will always have someone available to help them.
The teaching practice and feedback I received during the past month was valuable - now that I feel prepared I'm even more excited to teach in the 'real world'.
